During each of our weekend services, our River Kids leaders provide much more than childcare. From the moment you drop off your child, to the moment you pick them up, they experience safe, age-specific environments designed with them in mind. Our River Kids staff and volunteers present fun and engaging church services that clearly communicate one Biblical truth each week. Make sure to ask your kids what Bible point and Bible verse they learned this week. If you are interested in serving in our River Kids ministry please contact Megan Whittington, River Kids Coordinator.
8 WEEKS - AGE 4
While parents enjoy the weekend service, they can rest assured that their babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our team creates a positive church experience that introduces infants to the love of Jesus. Preschoolers love to learn and our classrooms provide interactive learning experiences in a colorful and engaging atmosphere! From illustrated lessons to small group activities, preschoolers learn about Jesus and the Bible in bite-sized pieces each week. Children 8 weeks – age 4 meet in classrooms in the main church building.
AGE 5 - 5TH GRADE
In our elementary environments our goal is to help kids learn about Jesus and build relationships with others through object lessons, engaging Bible stories, and small group activities. We believe that church should be fun and we have a blast every week! Children age 5 – 5th grade gather in Building B (behind the main church building).
Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our River Kids database to help maintain our secure check-in system.
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All River Kids volunteers pass a background check. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.
