Volunteer
Volunteers at The River are crucial pillars that help make our church a welcoming place. We have a lot of teams that could use a loving and dedicated volunteer, like YOU. Our worship band is always welcoming musicians. River Kids and River Students are currently in need of volunteers. The River’s host team is also looking for volunteers. Lastly, if you are interested in the creative arts, our Creative Director is currently looking for individuals interested in photography. No equipment or experience is required!

We’re so glad that you have decided to be a volunteer! The first thing you need to do is get a “Call to Serve” form from the info booth or you can email us at Office@theriverabilene.com
Your talents are your qualifications! Let us know what you feel comfortable helping with and we will help you get in touch with the appropriate Leader.
Volunteers helping in our River Kids, River Students and infant areas will also require a background check.
You can volunteer as much or as little as you can. However, most of our volunteers commit to serving at least one Sunday a month.
