Due to the rise of COVID-19 in Abilene, city leadership has recommended we implement the following guidelines:

Dear River Family,

Recently a letter was sent from Hendrick Medical Center and community leaders. With ICU capacity full and numbers rising leaders have been asked to do their part to slow the spread of Covid 19. We, standing with most other churches, have prayerfully decided to cancel in person worship for the next two Sundays. We feel strongly that we are called to stand with other Christians and our community to slow the spread. We will resume in person worship December 6th. Please join us online at theriverabilene.com.  Also don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have needs. We will miss you but look forward to our reunion on December 6th. Let’s join together and pray against this virus and for those on the frontlines of the fight. Praying.
